Herb Marinated Sirloin

Ingredients (for 4 persons):
1 kg of beef sirloin
Salt and pepper
For the marinade:
100 gr of Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Fonterutoli
25 gr of sage, thyme, rosemary, marjoram and mint (finely chopped)

Preparation:

Place the sirloin on a cutting board and cut into four equal parts. Place the olive oil in a tray and sprinkle with the chopped herbs. Rub the olive oil and herb mixture on both sides of the meat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, then cook the meat on the grill or on a griddle until desired, adding salt and pepper to taste.

Expert tip:
To obtain a more tender steak, marinate and refridgerate overnight. Cut just an hour before cooking.

Presentation:
Once the meat is cooked, slice it at an angle (preferably in slices about 1cm thick), place it on a stone heated in the oven (already washed) and add a sprig of sage or rosemary.
